Caldera Rafting

hiii, I went to Caldera rafting on citarik river sukabumi with TBMT. it was a long journey, took around 5hours to reach there from jakarta.. but it was worth it thooo... when we reached there we're welcomed by a super friendly employee, and showed us the place where we could enjoy a massive big lunch (rice, ayam goreng kunyit, tahu, tempe, ikan asin, sayur asem, karedok, kerupuk, lalapan, sambal... all in a big portion!! and es buah + hot tea + mineral water) and zhuhur prayer. then we're told to keep our cellphones, money, and other valuable things in a small lockers secured by another employee and we're divided into some boats, max. 6persons (including the guide from Caldera) each boat. there are a lot of rafting package, we chose the 9km one. each person were given the life vest + helmet + a paddle and we took a pick-up car to reach the rafting starting line. I kept worried what-if-I-fall-down-from-the-boat-and-get-separated-from-my friends-I-can't-even-swim!! thought running inside my head. then we started the journey aaaand it's not scary at all hahaha I could keep my body balanced, I didn't fall down from the boat (I got down by myself to feel how it feels like "swimming" on the river), I even hope for scarier jerams wkwk ;P the guide told us that the current jerams were at the average point, not too small nor too big. in the middle of rafting, we stopped and we drank coconut while the boat was being refilled. ahh... there were also 2photo spots :P we took about 2hours to reach the finish line and it wasn't enough for us... but too bad we had to go home soon, we didn't even have any chance to play paintball because we should be at least 20persons to play it...

after that we took shower, had another coffee break (tea + bakwan and pisang goreng), bought the cd consist of our photos (about 140rb/boat), then finally had another long journey home. it was soooo fun, eventho I was expecting all of my tbmt xi family to come along with us, but it's okayyy.... :')

btw, I'm very satisfied with Caldera. the employees were so nice and humble, the place was really clean at every spot (especially the bathroom! making us comfortable when cleaning up after playing on the river hehe feels like home :-) heard that Caldera is the best rafting place compared to the other rafting place *whoops) the price is worth it (if I'm not mistaken it's 275rb including the suit + 9km rafting + massive lunch + unlimited coffee break!) they have paint ball arena too, the cottages, the out bonds and many moreeee :--)
too bad the long journey to reach there from jakarta really makes me think twice if I want to go there again just for a quick trip :-( (staying for 1 night and spend it with a big amount of your family or friends is really recommended!) see youuu in the next nearer branch of Caldera rafting from jakarta (hihi I wish!!)

brighter future

oiya waktu itu tante gue juga pernah curhat sama nyokap gue kalo gajinya gak seperti yang dijanjikan, malah hampir 50% gitu dari perjanjian awal, terus tante gue mau berenti aja dari kantornya. tapi nyokap gue marahin tante gue, nyokap gue bilang, kita gak usah whining about gaji yang kita dapet dari atasan kita, apalagi dengan posisi kita pekerja baru di kantor itu karena kebanyakan atasan itu sebenernya cuma ngetes kita doang kalo kerja kita tuh beneran bener atau cuma terpaku sama gaji doang. kalo atasannya ternyata gak ngetes yaaa at least gak bakal lower the impression karna atasan juga males kali ngeliat orang belum apa-apa udah ngeluh-ngeluh soal gaji :-) kalo atasannya emang orang yang baik, dia bakal nyadar kalo kita sebenernya bibit bagus. jadi walaupun emang standard gajinya rendah ya bisa aja nanti atasan ngasih kita bonus lebih karna satisfied sama kinerja kita :-)
gue setuju banget sama kata-kata nyokap karna itu berdasarkan pengalaman pribadi beliau. nyokap gue itu seorang guru sekolah dasar negeri. dulu bokap gue sering banget nyuruh nyokap gue buat berenti kerja, tapi nyokap gue tetep sama pendiriannya buat gak berenti walaupun emang gajinya kecil dan sering secara gak langsung diremehin orang-orang karna "cuma" jadi guru SD negeri.... tapi, beberapa tahun belakangan ini gaji guru negeri sekarang udah makin meningkat ditambah tunjangan ini-itu yang gak sedikit without adding extra work time jadi masih bisa spending time sama keluarga. see, kalo emang "jasa" kita berguna buat orang banyak, orang-orang bakal notice dan kita bakal di-appreciate kok dengan bermacam-macam cara :-)

...well itu sih kalo kinerja kita baik, lain soal kalo kita emang deserve nya gaji segitu aja :p
makanya gak sepenuhnya salah kan kalo gue bilang kita belum pantes buat protes, kerjanya aja belum.. ya jalanin aja dulu walaupun berarti kita bakal jadi sedikit lebih lama lagi ngerepotin orangtuanya... mudah2an worth it, mereka masih dikasih umur panjang supaya bisa ngeliat kita, anak-anaknya, sukses dengan usaha sendiri... amin!

PS. it's my pretty mom's birthday today!! thank you for always being so inspiring, i loveee you!!!

only if for a night

most of the songs I love are sung by women singers. especially this kind of tune! I love Florence + The Machine, but I love this version by Kate McGill a lottt! too bad she decided to quit from youtube world...

btw, does anyone have any good songs recommendation that sound similar to this? really appreciate that! :-)

as a medstud

berhubung kayaknya gue jarang banget cerita tentang dunia perkuliahan gue di semua social media, gue jadi kepengen cerita nih sekali2 gpp lah yaaa hihihi

ribet yah sistemnya, pusing bacanya hahaha.. tapi sebenernya gak seribet itu sih dan for those who ask jadi anak kedokteran itu susah atau ngga, sebenernya ngga susah kok kalo rajin. mau jadi anak FK tuh gak harus pinter, kuncinya cuma rajin... tapi sayangnya gue masih jauh banget nih dari kata rajin dibanding anak2 kedokteran lainnya fufufufuuu tp ini sedang berjuang kok hahaha doakan ya supaya dipermudah dan diperlancarrrr dan kalo kata nyokap sih faktor luck juga ngaruh banget (secara kata orang2 kalo kuliah kedokteran tuh ibarat kata kayak di film harry potter--dan gue adalah kaum muggle hahaha ngerti kannn) jadi semoga gue luck nya tokcer yah supaya bisa jadi dokter bermanfaat buat nusa bangsa, terutama keluarga hihihi semoga yg sedang baca ini juga diberi kemudahan kelancaran dan luck in pursuing your dream! specially you, ran! :-) aminnnn

seeeeeeeyaaaaaaaaa!

better (not) being happy

I always greet birthday people along with wishing them happiness in their life. not only in birthdays, in new year's eve, christmas, etc I also wish people get a lot of happiness. but one day, my lecturer said...

if people get so much trouble or suffering from serious illness or other kinda stuff, that's not a difficult test (from God). they will send so many prayers to their God, making themselves closer to Him
but, if people get so happy a lot, that is the most difficult test because many people forget to thank their God of the blessings they get when they're happy.

well it's true.
being happy is not 100% good for us. who knows it's also a temporary feeling that will lead us to a big disadvantage

then I'm so sorry that I accidentally hoped many people (and also myself) to have (maybe) the most difficult test in life.

"Fighting is made mandatory for you, but you dislike it. You may not like something which, in fact, is for your good and something that you may love, in fact, may be evil. Allah knows, but you do not know." (QS. 2:216)

usa trip

hi!

a few weeks ago I had an east coast-usa trip for about 3weeks. long story short, the first 2 weeks was dedicated to the folkmoot usa, an annual north carolina international folk-art festival, and the last 1 week was for such a 'reward'... hahaha. my friend, ila (btw if you read this, hello la!!), said that I might have wanted to post about this usa trip on my blog, but well.. I don't know, I surely want to share about the details but I stuck that I realize that my post never been that interesting hahaha... :P

well it was tiring and soooo hot that my skin tone got darker when I'm home, but it's all worth it because:
1. that's my very first trip out of asia (as I've mentioned that my dad doesn't want to travel too faraway from home that takes a lot of hours on plane that keeps making our family go for the same countries around asia over again -it's not that I'm complaining or stuff, but you knowww...), and
2. it's america I'm talking about!!!! how can I not be excited??? hahaha.

I didn't have difficulties about the food because their food is common here but sometimes I missed asian food and I love the fact that chatime is available too there!!!! ;D eh I forgot that americans seem don't like spicy food that I rarely found any chili sauce.. if there was any, the taste's different with what we have here. I feel like I'm having a sort of anti-spicy food now ;_; and alsoooo the price is a little bit more expensive but you'll find it worth it because of the jumbo portion each of 'em -_- but the mineral water is way wayyyyyy too expensive it's about $1.5-$3.5 for a small bottle of water it's even more expensive than cola... no wonder a lot of americans are obese from very young. sorry.

and what I like the most about usa is..... their retail price is way cheaper than in indonesia!! the retail I mean is branded stuff (the 'ordinary' or the fancy) that exist in Indonesia too and also they have more newest collections. too bad I had a lot of arguing with my own mind that I regret I didn't buy so many stuffsssss huft. kayyy update later, maybe? see ya!!!!!
